Dhoom 2: A High-Octane Action Thriller
Dhoom 2 is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Uday Chopra and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles. It is a sequel to the 2004 film Dhoom and is the second installment in the Dhoom series.
The film follows the adventures of ACP Jai Dixit (Bachchan) and his partner Ali Khan (Chopra) as they chase a mysterious and elusive thief known as Mr. A (Roshan), who steals priceless artifacts from around the world. Along the way, they encounter Sunehri (Rai), a clever and seductive accomplice of Mr. A, and Shonali Bose (Basu), a fellow cop who specializes in tracking Mr. A.

Dhoom 2 was shot primarily in India, Durban and Rio de Janeiro, becoming the first major Hindi film to be shot in Brazil.
